If there are large trees on your property, it's extremely important that you are paying attention to them. After all, should they fall, they can cause serious damage not only to your home and other properties around it, but also to anyone passing or driving by. Not only do you want to hire professionals for regular tree trimming services, but you also want to pay attention and know when you need to hire emergency tree services. Here are three reasons you need to do this:

  1. A Leaning Tree: If you notice any tree on your property that is leaning, you need to hire emergency tree services, and the tree will immediately need to be removed. This is because, at this point, it's in serious danger of falling. Even small winds can cause the tree to collapse since a leaning tree means that the trunk itself is damaged and starting to split.
  2. Signs of Disease: Should you notice signs of disease on the trees, such as spotted leaves, strange growths, or rot, you should hire emergency tree services. Hopefully, the professionals will be able to salvage the tree by removing the diseased branches. However, if the disease has spread too far or is on the trunk of the tree, the tree will need to be removed. This is why it's important to inspect the trees on your property often to ensure that disease is caught early enough that it can possibly be removed before the whole tree needs to be.
  3. There Are Overhanging Branches: Luckily, overhanging branches don't warrant the need to remove the tree completely. However, you will need to hire professionals for emergency pruning since overhanging branches can cause serious damage to the roof of your home. Plus, in the event of a severe storm, the branches are more likely to fall from the tree because of the excess weight, which is dangerous. Luckily, this situation can easily be avoided if you are regularly using professionals to prune your trees at least once a year. You might want to consider twice a year, though, if you have a fast growing tree.

When you know some of the reasons not to delay on hiring tree services, you can avoid some pretty serious situations. Couple this with regular tree services and the trees on your property are much more likely to thrive, thus keeping your landscaping healthy and strong for years to come.
